No credit card or any payment information is needed. Start for free within minutes and you can extend your HelpforDesk functions later in the Helpfordesk Module Store.
My company has a long testing period, how long can we use HelpforDesk for free?
You can use HelpforDesk for free as long as you want. There is no time limitation. Anyway there are limitations like 10 client users and 1 Agent user licences.
What package should I choose?
This is the best part of HelpforDesk. NO PACKAGES at all! Start for free and build your customized system by purchasing Modules, Agent and Client access licences. If you need only one function of many, pay only for that one. Isn’t it great?
I need HelpforDesk only for a specific task, is it possible to pay only for that?
Yes. For example if you need a Time-Off Manager for your company, add it in the Module Store, choose the proper amount of access Licences and you are ready to go. You will have a free core system and admin settings extended with a great Time-Off Management solution for your company.
Two-factor authentiction is mandatory for us, can we do it with HelpforDesk?
Yes, We support two-factor authentication using Email access codes and Google login API solutions. Also SMS authentication is in development and will be added later this year.
We have our own SMPT server. Can we use it for email notifications from HelpforDesk?
We implemented an e-mail sender subsystem that can be configured via a simple yet powerful web interface. You can use your own SMTP server settings to send notifications to your staff. Also this Mail sender works globally and can be used for any added extension module of your personal HelpforDesk solution.
As a cloud service, what kind of backup does Helpfordesk have?
We have a massive backup solution, so you don’t need to do it manually. Also we have built a unique Backup module configurable by the Agent users so everyone can make backups of their own HelpforDesk instance.
Can I export all the data from HelpforDesk?
Yes, you can export your data from HelpforDesk. This function is available for Owners only.
We have a massive user base. Can this be imported in HelpforDesk?
We provide a user import feature for corporations. Please contact email@example.com and we can help you to match database structure for import procedures.
How many clients can access HelpforDesk?
In Free version we provide 10 client access licences. To unlock unlimit Clients option You have to buy at least one additional Agent licence in HelpforDesk Module Store.
I am getting "Maintenance Mode" error message when I try to access HelpforDesk.
Maintenance Mode is only displayed during central system update. You will get email notification before updates anyway. DO nothing, it should disappear within few minutes.
How can I assign a regular user to use HelpforDesk?
In user management add a user by filling out the user form. You can add users with any kind of email address until it’s unique in the system.
How many Admin users can I add to HelpforDesk?
You can add as many Agent (admin) users as you wish. Please note, that Clients can use Helpfordesk without limitations after purchasing at least 1 Agent user. All other Agents are also HelpforDesk Admins in your support team.
How to extend the capabilities of HelpforDesk free?
We created HelpforDesk as the most modular web-based support software. Build it as you wish, just add modules from the Module Store and enjoy your customized support product.
I don’t recieve any e-mail notification from HelpforDesk.
PLease make sure that you have set up the notifications and email sender configuration in Admin settings.
Can I run HelpforDesk without installation?
Yes, as it’s fully web-based, HelpforDesk requires no installation. Register and start in minutes. Please note that we recommend the most modern browsers to use the software. (Chrome, Firefox, EDGE)
I cannot login with my Admin account, what can I do?
Please use “I forgot my password” option on the login screen. If you have trouble-s resetting your password, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org email address.
I don’t need an app I used before. How to deactivate it?
You can control the access of users to the Module you need, also turn off auto-renew of an app and it will expire automatically and become deactivated for you.
How to delete a user? What will happen with the data the user added to HelpforDesk?
Due to strict regulations you cannot delete a user instead we have an archiving procedure which will anonymize the user but all connected tickets and history will be available for the rest colleagues.
